Patient with a ski injury during childhood. While healing a bone infection occured, hence a shortening of alltogether 3,54 inch (2,36 inch on the thigh and 1,18 inc on the lower leg).
Leg lenghtening was executed simultaneously on thigh and lower leg thrue fitbone.
The figures show the state before operation, the patients shoe with elevating insole, that he wore for 25 years, the state after operation and finally him on vacation with normal shoes. Radiographs showing nails in thigh and lower leg and condition after implants were ablated past bone consolidation.
